Reiki Level 1 is where your journey with Reiki begins.

 

This isn't just about receiving Reiki from someone else. It's about learning how to connect with and practise Reiki for yourself.

 

As a Reiki Master and qualified teacher, I want Reiki to feel accessible rather than complicated or mysterious. My approach combines the traditional foundations of Usui Reiki with practical teaching, giving you the confidence to understand what you're doing and begin developing your own relationship with Reiki.

 

What is Reiki Level 1?

 

Reiki Level 1, traditionally known as Shoden, is the first stage of Usui Reiki training.

 

During your training, you'll learn the foundations of Reiki and receive your Level 1 attunement, beginning your journey as a Reiki practitioner.

 

The focus at this level is primarily self-Reiki — learning how to work with Reiki as part of your own wellbeing and personal practice. You'll also begin learning how Reiki can be shared with others.

 

You don't need any previous experience with Reiki, meditation or energy work.

You'll also have space to ask questions, practise and experience Reiki, rather than simply being given information to remember.

 

Your Reiki Level 1 Attunement

 

An important part of Reiki training is receiving your attunement from a Reiki Master.

 

I see the attunement as the beginning rather than the destination.

 

The real relationship with Reiki develops afterwards — through practice, curiosity and experiencing it for yourself.

 

I'll encourage you to take your time with that process rather than feeling that you need to rush through different Reiki levels.

 

My approach to teaching Reiki

 

I'm both a qualified teacher and Reiki Master, and that shapes the way I teach.

 

I don't want Reiki to feel like something you simply have to believe in or accept without question.

 

I'll teach you the foundations, explain the practices, share what I've learned through my own Reiki journey and give you the space to experience Reiki and develop your own understanding of it.

 

My aim through Heart & Harmony 7 is to make energy practices accessible, affordable and practical enough to become part of everyday life.

 

Who is Reiki Level 1 for?

 

This is for you if you're curious about Reiki, want to deepen your understanding of energy, would like to learn self-Reiki or simply feel drawn towards beginning your Reiki journey.

 

You don't need to want to become a professional Reiki practitioner.

 

You can learn Reiki simply for you.
